Bharat Dental Show Celebrates Six-Month Milestone with Inspiring Women Dentists' Table Talk in Mumbai

Mumbai, 12 July 2026: Bharat Dental Show celebrated a significant milestone by completing six months since its inauguration in January 2026 with a unique networking initiative titled "Bharat Dental Social – A Table Talk." The gathering brought together passionate women dental professionals for an enriching Sunday filled with meaningful conversations, collaboration, inspiration, and celebration.

The occasion also marked the official launch of the Bharat Dental Show website, unveiled by Organising Chairperson Dr. Saloni Mistry and Organising Secretary Dr. Manali Mehta, adding another memorable chapter to the journey of India's first women-led, 365-day dental congress.

Hosted at BNDRA:W , a contemporary restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai, the event welcomed more than 17 women dentists from Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. The gathering reflected the true spirit of Bharat Dental Show—bringing together clinicians across generations to learn, connect, inspire, and lead.

From young practitioners in their twenties to highly respected senior clinicians with decades of experience, participants represented a remarkable blend of perspectives. Every attendee proudly wore the specially designed Bharat Dental Show badge, symbolizing a shared commitment to advancing women in dentistry through education, leadership, collaboration, and community.

The event was honoured by the presence of distinguished dental professionals including Patron Dr. Sabita Ram, Dr. Vishakha, Dr. Anuradha Reddy, Dr. Reena, Dr. Vijaya Bopardikar, and Dr. Darshika Kelkar. The next generation of women dentists was represented by Dr. Khyati Chaudhary, Dr. Amanpreet Gill, Dr. Bhagyashree, Dr. Gouri, Dr. Shefali, and Dr. Shiny, while budding practitioners Dr. Aarohi and Dr. Sarah—who also contributed as social media planners—brought exceptional energy and enthusiasm to the discussions.

The conversations were open, authentic, and deeply inspiring. Participants shared their professional journeys, challenges, achievements, and aspirations, creating an atmosphere of trust and encouragement. Despite representing different specialties, practice models, and years of experience, everyone united around a common vision—to empower and uplift women dentists across the profession.

Several important themes emerged during the brainstorming sessions, including:

• Building successful and sustainable independent dental practices.
• The importance of life-saving medical sciences in everyday dental practice.
• Creating collaborative support networks that enable practitioners to assist one another during career breaks or personal sabbaticals.
• Developing mentorship pathways for women dentists aspiring to become educators and speakers.
• Expanding community outreach initiatives through oral health programs for underserved populations, including old-age homes, second-innings homes, orphanages, and other communities in need.
• Sharing best clinical and practice management approaches to strengthen professional growth.

One of the most inspiring aspects of the gathering was the warmth, inclusivity, and genuine willingness of every participant to contribute. Regardless of specialty, age, or experience, every voice was valued, reinforcing the collaborative philosophy that defines Bharat Dental Show.

The elegant ambience and thoughtfully curated hospitality at BNDRA:W further enhanced the experience, with special appreciation extended to Sanayaa Mistry, daughter of Dr. Saloni Mistry, for her efforts in creating a welcoming atmosphere.

While the initiative was spearheaded by Dr. Saloni Mistry and Dr. Manali Mehta, the event beautifully demonstrated the collective ownership embraced by the participants. Many women voluntarily stepped forward to assume responsibilities and contribute toward the continued growth of Bharat Dental Show, reflecting the movement's shared vision and collaborative leadership.
